I first became interested in Reiki in 1999 when I had a chronic health problem. I had some Reiki treatments and found that my condition cleared up immediately after my treatment but gradually came back again in between sessions. I decided to train as a Level 1 practitioner primarily so that I could heal myself.

I was so impressed with the difference Reiki could make to my own life and the lives of my friends and family that, in October 2000, I went on to become a Reiki II practitioner and, in June 2007, I took Reiki III to become a Tibetan & Usui Reiki Master.
Since then I have both treated and taught many people. I have treated clients with cancer, arthritis, ME/CFS, sports injuries, and those at the end of life. I have even treated animals including a horse who could no longer jump.
In May 2011, I decided to expand my knowledge of healing and trained in ThetaHealing (TM) and often use a combination of Reiki and ThetaHealing when working with clients.

Reiki has become an integral part of my life and, several times a week, I meditate by a local lake sending Reiki healing to clients and their family and friends, as well as to the wider world.
